Each year, we serve millions of homes and businesses in the United States with cleaning and disaster recovery services, lawn care and landscape maintenance, termite and pest control, plumbing, heating and air conditioning maintenance and repair, appliance maintenance and repair, furniture maintenance and home warranties.

Our People

The local ServiceMaster franchise began doing business in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley in 1987, primarily serving customers as a carpet and upholstery cleaning company. Mark Bottjer purchased the company in 1989 and expanded upon the principle that no job was too small or too large. ServiceMaster Total Restoration has been founded upon the philosophy that our customers are the greatest asset and we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and quality work. ServiceMaster Total Restoration is a restoration provider that serves Riverside, San Bernardino and North San Diego Counties.

Mark Bottjer , Owner/General Manager

Mark was raised in a family of custom home builders and his background is in sales and marketing. These unique strengths have given him the clear direction in growing ServiceMaster Total Restoration as it continues to provide a quality service too many people. With over 20 years in business, ServiceMaster Total Restoration has been distinguished as one of the top 100 franchises in the United States. ServiceMaster Total Restoration has won numerous awards of achievement in the restoration industry and was awarded “Farmers Franchise of the Year” for 2009. ServiceMaster Total Restoration has a commitment to “Doing Whatever It Takes” and continues to strive to be the best it can be.

Simon Rose , Construction Manager

Simon Rose has been with ServiceMaster since 2009 as the construction manager. Simon has a long history on both commercial and residential construction and repairs. Simon owned and operated SAS construction in San Diego, and has worked with large home building companies. Simon also won the Building Industry Association award for Customer Service Person of the Year. He understands what it takes to get the job done in a professional and timely manner.

Chris Bottjer , Fire/Contents Manager

Chris Bottjer joined the ServiceMaster team in 2002, starting as a mold remediation and water restoration technician. Chris has also served in the capacity of construction manager and is currently the fire damage/packout department manager. Chris has also been given the ability to participate in many of the continuing education classes surrounding our industry and has a thirst for knowledge.

Kristen Grafton , Sales & Marketing

Kristen has been a resident of the Temecula Valley for over 20 years and has been a part of the ServiceMaster Total Restoration Team for 3 years. She has been in sales, marketing, management, and business services for over 15 years. She is a member of Murrieta C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team, a lay emergency responder team.) Kristen is also an active member of numerous Inland Empire Valley Chambers of Commerce and related Associations. Kristen is a mother of two, and in her free time enjoys traveling all over the United States on her Harley-Davidson Soft-tail Deluxe.

John Holder , Water Mitigation Manager

John Holder joined the ServiceMaster team in October in 2001 and started in the position of water damage technician. John served in that role for two and a half years with hands on experience that gave him a very knowledgeable base to work from. John then became a crew chief over other water damage technicians for another two years and oversaw each job. John has now held the role of DR (disaster restoration) manager since November of 2006 and leads the water damage mitigation division. John holds certifications in WRT (Water Restoration Technician) and ASD (Applied Structural Drying).

Lisa Rogers , Disaster Restoration Support

Lisa has worked for ServiceMaster Total Restoration for 2 years. She started as the Receptionist and is now working in the Water Department as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to entering the Disaster Restoration Industry, Lisa worked in the Home Improvement Industry for 15 years. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to soccer games to watch her girls play and going to the beach.

Denise Hinton , Administrative Assistant

Denise Hinton joined the ServiceMaster family in October of 2009. She began by answering the phones and providing general office support. She quickly became our “Go to Girl” and now provides administrative support to management staff and all departments within our company. Denise has a deep understanding and commitment to customer service, she makes sure that each customer is dealt with professionally and courteously. Denise is married and has four children from college age to kindergarten and is very active in her church.

Christie Bottjer

Christie Bottjer came on board with ServiceMaster Total Restoration in December of 2000 and started as clerical help in the office. She quickly showed her enthusiasm for the job and her ability to take on more responsibility. She is now the resource manager and handles all of the human resources and accounting for the company; Christie is also the employee with the longest term of employment here with ServiceMaster. Her 24/7/365 mentality shows through because she understands that emergency water or smoke damages don’t always take place from 9 to 5 and she is ready and willing to give our customers peace of mind.
